About
We're an independent software company in Kochi, India. We design, build and run our own apps for mobile and the web, and we keep improving them long after launch.
The name
Noviem comes from nov-, the old root of new. It lives in novel and innovation, in renovate, and in nova: the moment a star suddenly burns brighter and new light reaches us.
That is the feeling we build for. Something new that earns its place in someone’s day, and stays there. The point of light in our logo is that nova.
from nov-, new
What we believe
They decide what we make, what we leave out, and how long we stay with it.
Each product has a single job and does it carefully. We would rather go deep on one problem than wide across ten.
Launch is the start, not the finish. We keep improving what we ship for as long as people rely on it.
No dark patterns, no invented urgency, no noise. A good app earns its place in your day and then gets out of the way.
We start from real practices and real people, like a bansuri player’s daily riyaz, and build outward from there.
